Małgorzata Dmitryjuk
Małgorzata Dmitryjuk, PhD, DSc, holds the position of Professor at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland, where she currently serves as the Head of the Department of Biochemistry and Vice-Dean for Education and Development at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology.
Her scientific activity is currently focused on parasitology, with particular emphasis on ticks and tick-borne diseases, including their biology, ecology, and role as vectors of pathogens affecting animal and public health. Her research combines classical parasitology with modern molecular methods to better understand host–parasite interactions, pathogen transmission, and epidemiological dynamics.
Professor Dmitryjuk is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications and actively collaborates with national and international research centers. She regularly participates in scientific conferences and contributes to the advancement of knowledge in parasitology and the broader One Health concept.
In addition to her scientific achievements, her roles as Vice-Dean and Head of Department reflect her strong commitment to academic leadership, the promotion of research excellence, and international cooperation.
